The hospitality group Pis Pas is expanding its presence in Alicante with the inauguration of a new traditional bakery, named La Pañadería, in the Altozano neighborhood.

This new initiative serves as a complement to one of the group's Iruña cafes and involves reviving a former establishment that served local residents. The decision stems from customer demand, with patrons inquiring about products like bread and 'coca de mollitas'.
The opportunity to open the new business arose with the closure of the adjacent amusement arcade to the Iruña Las Plazas cafe. The new premises, spanning 200 square meters, will feature its own production workshop and storage space.
La Pañadería aims to sell all types of bread, pastries, and empanadas, primarily for takeaway. Additionally, the new space will share a terrace with the cafe, strategically located near the Doctor Balmis Hospital.
The bakery is expected to open next October. With this launch, the Pis Pas group will reach its sixth establishment in Alicante and El Campello, reinforcing its commitment to diversification and quality.
