The energy generated by the new CERM installation will be supplied to residents and businesses located within a 5-kilometer radius, covering towns such as Monachil, Cájar, Huétor-Vega, La Zubia, and Cenes de la Vega, among others. A portion of the energy received by the City Council will be allocated to families facing energy vulnerability.
There are several participation options for this project. Interested parties can choose to invest and consume the generated energy, resulting in virtually no energy cost as the installation investment is already covered. Alternatively, one can opt to consume energy by paying an annual fee of €100, which allows access to a price of less than 10 cents per kWh. Another option is to invest in this social project, earning a 2% interest.
