The Basque Government, through SPRI, has launched the Zabaldu+ program, a comprehensive aid line with a budget of 13.6 million euros to strengthen the international presence of local businesses.

This initiative consolidates previous programs such as Zabaldu, Sakondu, Elkartu, and Pilotu, simplifying the process for companies to access support for foreign expansion. The funding covers activities carried out throughout 2026, from January 1st to December 31st.
The grants are non-repayable and cover between 45% and 70% of the approved budget. The maximum aid is 75,000 euros per company for individual actions, which can increase to 110,000 euros for projects involving business cooperation.
The program funds strategic consulting, market research, product adaptation, certifications, patent registration, and international marketing campaigns. It also supports commercial establishment abroad, including hiring local staff and participating in trade missions.
