The company Landazabal in Bergara has reached a labor agreement after weeks of tension, as reported by the ELA union.

The ELA union expressed satisfaction after the signing of the labor agreement for 2025-2028, stating that it consolidates "salary increases, reduced working hours, and safeguards against labor reform." According to the union, this agreement is a "milestone".
At Landazabal, a company that cleans and performs quality control on parts for the automotive industry, 60 employees work. The new agreement includes salary increases linked to the CPI, with an annual rise of 1%, and a reduction of the working day by 8 hours each year. Furthermore, the rest time for office employees will be recognized as paid working time.
Other "significant improvements" have also been included, such as those related to complementary sick leave, an increase in the night work bonus to 30%, and an extension of rest periods during the workday.
ELA recalled that two years ago, the provincial metal agreement of Gipuzkoa was successfully applied at this company through a "conflict driven by the union".
