A subsidy from the Next Generation Fund exceeding 200 million in old pesetas
transforms the building at Sol i Padris street 115
A community of neighbours from Sol i Padris street 115 in Sabadell has obtained one of the
largest Next Generation Fund subsidies granted in the city, with an amount exceeding
200 million in old pesetas, to carry out a comprehensive energy rehabilitation of the building.
The subsidy has been processed and the project executed on a turnkey basis by the rehabilitation
agent Sapo Studio (www.sapo.studio), which has allowed for a global intervention with
technical and quality guarantees.
Thanks to this historic investment, 56 homes have experienced a qualitative leap in comfort,
energy efficiency, and quality of life, with direct economic and environmental benefits for the
resident families.
Structural actions with direct impact
– External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) on all four facades
– Installation of photovoltaic solar panels
– Individual heating and cooling systems for each home
One of the most significant improvements has been the increase in the average indoor temperature of the
homes during the winter months, which has risen from 12°C to 19°C, significantly reducing the need for
heating energy consumption.
Tangible energy and economic savings
– Average savings of 2,000 kWh per year per home
– Total savings of approximately 112,000 kWh per year
– Reduction in electricity and gas bills of between €600 and €900 per year per home
– Tax advantages with IRPF deductions and IBI (Property Tax) bonuses
Revaluation of family assets
Once the work is completed, the homes have appreciated by approximately 30%, with an
increase of over €60,000 per home.
A replicable model in the city
The project at Sol i Padris street 115 is consolidated as a replicable example for other
communities of owners in Sabadell and throughout the country.
