Milagrosa Collection has announced a key step in its segmentation strategy by taking over the management of a new property for tourist accommodation. The Alicante company, specializing in operating tourist establishments, adds a new asset to its portfolio: a former residential building on Villavieja street, which previously housed the Versalles guesthouse.
The property has recently been renovated and transformed into a hotel, preserving essential historical elements such as a stone archway. Named Hotel Boutique Porta Ferrisa, referencing its location opposite a former municipal palace, its launch is scheduled for the first half of June. The three-star establishment will offer 12 rooms with an Arabic-inspired design and premium services, including a spacious lobby, breakfast area, an interior garden patio, and a terrace with views of Santa Bárbara Castle.
With this addition, Milagrosa Collection strengthens its presence in a highly attractive tourist area of Alicante, close to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA) and the Basilica of Santa María. They already manage the Hotel La Milagrosa here, from which they began their expansion in 1998.
In addition to Hotel La Milagrosa (two stars), the company operates four blocks of tourist apartments under the Be Alicante brand, distributed throughout Alicante's Old Town and Traditional Center, including properties on Plaza Quijano, San Francisco Javier street, Teatro street, and the same Villavieja street (La Basílica).
The company is also working on a new hotel project in the Traditional Center. This will be a four-star hotel with 28 rooms located at number 57 Bazán street, in the former building of the OVSI Foundation. The property, acquired by the group Iris Costa Blanca Inversiones in March 2025, has been undergoing renovation since April 2025. The initial plan was to open in mid-2026, but deadlines have been extended, and the inauguration is now expected by the end of 2026.
With these new establishments, Milagrosa Collection solidifies its position as a significant operator in Alicante's accommodation sector, managing three hotels of various categories (from two to four stars) and four apartment blocks.
