Getafe has reaffirmed its commitment to stable employment and social economy during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Association of Labor Societies of Madrid (ASALMA), promoting the municipal economic development strategy.

The collaboration between the Getafe City Council, through GISA (Getafe Iniciativas) and the Local Agency for Employment and Training (ALEF), together with ASALMA, has been fundamental for four decades in strengthening the local ecosystem of entrepreneurship and participatory management.
In the last four years, this alliance has led to the establishment of 90 limited labor societies, generating over 80 quality jobs in the municipality. This trajectory highlights the commitment to participatory, sustainable, and people-centered business models.
ASALMA, ALEF, and GISA are joining strategic forces to promote a shared success model. Getafe congratulates ASALMA on its trajectory and ratifies its commitment to continue working together to consolidate a favorable environment for innovation, entrepreneurship, and quality employment, facing the challenges set for 2027.
