Grupo Cinfa has commenced construction of a new plant for its orthopedics company, Orliman, in La Pobla de Vallbona, with an initial investment of 19 million euros and an estimated operational start in the second half of 2027.

These new infrastructures, located just 400 meters from the current facilities, will replace the existing plant and significantly increase production capacity. The new factory will feature over 5,000 square meters dedicated to production and 3,500 square meters for storage, representing a 60% increase compared to the current area.
In addition to manufacturing and logistics areas, the plant will house Orliman's central offices, as well as its R&D&i and raw material quality control laboratories. This centralization will allow the company to consolidate all its industrial activity in a single location, where its team of approximately 250 people will relocate.
One of the most notable aspects of this project is the incorporation of automated processes and "cutting-edge technology" in the mobility and orthopedics sector. Innovations include flat weaving, 3D printing, laser cutting, and ultrasonic welding. These technologies will enable Orliman to continue innovating, offer more personalized products, and expand its manufacturing capacity, thereby strengthening national production.

"Grupo Cinfa is a 100% Spanish-owned company, already present in 120 countries worldwide, which continues to commit to investment and the generation of quality employment in our country."

Enrique Ordieres · President of Grupo Cinfa
The president of Grupo Cinfa, Enrique Ordieres, emphasized the importance of boosting national industry in the health sector to guarantee strategic autonomy and ensure that Spanish patients have access to necessary treatments. This investment aligns with the group's commitment to national production and the Spanish business fabric.
The new facilities have been designed with maximum energy efficiency criteria, in line with Grupo Cinfa's commitment to environmental sustainability. They will include a hydraulic climate control system and a photovoltaic park on the roof, which will generate 20% of the electricity required for its operation.
Over the last decade, Grupo Cinfa has invested 487 million euros in R&D&i and new infrastructures, maintaining an investment commitment with a forecast of 85 million euros for the current fiscal year. Ordieres highlighted that, with this new Orliman plant, the aim is to strengthen national production of mobility and orthopedics treatments, responding to the growing demand for solutions that improve the autonomy and quality of life for millions of people.
