The Alicante Provincial Association of Hotels and Tourist Accommodations (APHA), with the support of Alicante City&Beach, has concluded a familiarization trip to promote the city in the Irish and Dutch markets.

Since May 11th, a delegation of tourism professionals from these countries has toured various establishments and points of interest in Alicante. The goal of this action has been to showcase the diversity of the local offer, which combines historical heritage, cutting-edge gastronomy, and wellness to attract a higher-value European tourist profile.
The program included visits to iconic sites such as the Santa Bárbara Castle, the island of Tabarca, and the Elche Palm Grove. Additionally, participants enjoyed gastronomic experiences, including a caldero cooking demonstration and a visit to the Valor Chocolate Museum in Villajoyosa.
The initiative involved tour operators specializing in luxury segments, cruises, and tailor-made travel. According to association sources, this collaboration is essential to consolidate Alicante's image as a modern and welcoming destination, capable of meeting the demands of travelers from northern and central Europe.

This action not only highlights the province's hotel infrastructure but also positions Alicante as a welcoming, modern destination capable of satisfying the demands of the most detail-oriented travelers.
