A group of residents in Tolosa has established the Tolosa Argituz Energy Community (TAEK), a non-profit cooperative aimed at generating renewable energy within the municipality.

The project is supported by the Tolosa City Council and Goiener S. Koop.. Its primary goal is to promote a fairer and more sustainable consumption model, helping members save on their electricity bills and gain protection against energy price fluctuations.
To join, interested parties must make an initial contribution of 50 euros. A further investment of approximately 450 euros per member is expected for the implementation of the facilities, with an estimated amortization period of ten years. As it is a collective project, members do not need to have their own facilities.

The more members we have, the more viable and beneficial it will be for everyone. It is not just about saving on your bill: it is about taking a step towards a more sustainable future, from Tolosa and for Tolosa.

The association will hold a public presentation in September to explain the project details and answer questions. Those interested in more information can contact tolosaargituz@gmail.com, providing their personal details and a contact phone number.
