Representatives of the Basque Government have participated in the V Bavarian Semiconductor Congress held in Munich, aiming to address the main industrial and technological challenges of the microelectronics sector in Europe.

During the meeting, Basque institutions strengthened ties with Bavarian authorities. The event brought together leading companies, research centers, and representatives from the European Commission to discuss strategic topics such as chip design, applied artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies.
This participation is part of Euskadi's strategy to bolster its position in European industrial competitiveness. By promoting high-value-added activities, the goal is to foster new international collaboration opportunities in areas essential for the industrial future.
This meeting follows the institutional and business mission held last June in Euskadi. Through an intense work agenda, both regions are promoting innovation and knowledge transfer to develop a more technologically advanced industrial ecosystem.
