The Department of Tourism, Commerce and Consumption of the Basque Government and Bilbao Ekintza have signed a collaboration agreement to share personal data collected during the I Entrepreneurship Congress held on December 11, 2025. This agreement was presented to the Governing Council on July 14, 2026.
The purpose of this data will be to produce statistics and aggregated analyses, study the entrepreneurial profile of Euskadi, evaluate and improve public policies on entrepreneurship, and design and plan future congresses and activities to promote entrepreneurship.
Personal data will be used solely for the described purposes, in accordance with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPD). Both parties will inform data subjects about the processing of their data, including the identity of the controller, the purpose, the legal basis, recipients, retention period, and their rights.
This agreement involves no financial contribution between the parties and will be valid for one year, with the possibility of extension, coming into effect on the date of signing.
