The Azpeitia City Council has allocated 400,000 euros to strengthen the local economy through grants aimed at businesses, self-employed professionals, and entrepreneurs, with a deadline of October 15.

The grant program covers four main areas: strengthening activities in the service and primary sectors, supporting strategic or innovative industrial projects, promoting employment, and fostering entrepreneurship. The Azpeitia City Council emphasizes that the call is designed to reach all types of businesses.
This year's call includes several updates. The maximum amount for local product consumption grants has been increased to 12,000 euros, and sound limiters are now included in service sector investments. Additionally, psychoneurology cabinets have been added to the list of eligible activities.
For commercial grants, having a physical store is a mandatory requirement. Regarding entrepreneurship, if a company is formed by multiple partners, only those registered as residents in Azpeitia are eligible for the funding.
Applications can be submitted via the municipal electronic office, the general registry, or the Azpeitia Berritzen office. In the previous call, 124 applications were approved, with a total distribution of 483,417 euros.
