Alava's Tax Authority has managed over 19,000 appointments for the in-person phase of the 2025 Income Tax campaign, which has commenced in Vitoria, Laudio, and Laguardia, marking a successful start to the process.

This Monday, the in-person phase of the 2025 Income Tax campaign began at Alava's provincial offices, specifically in Vitoria, Laudio, and Laguardia. The Alavese Tax Authority has already granted nearly 19,000 appointments for taxpayers to submit their respective declarations.
The jeltzale deputy for the sector, Itziar Gonzalo, highlighted the “normality” with which the process has started during a visit to the Vitoria headquarters on Félix María Samaniego street. The Provincial Council anticipates that approximately 40,000 declarations will be submitted through this modality by June 25.
Beyond Rentaraba, the good pace at which the campaign has started in the territory is maintained across the other available modalities for taxpayers to catch up with the tax authorities, according to data provided by Gonzalo herself. In fact, the provincial Tax Authority has already returned 25 million euros to Alavese taxpayers in less than a week, through the online options Rentafácil and Rentared.
Specifically, since last Tuesday, the 7th, the first day of the campaign, 22,491 declarations have already been submitted in Alava. Of these, 19,409 were for refunds and 2,908 were for payments.
