The Fira Gran Via in Barcelona is hosting from today until Wednesday (November 2nd to 4th) the Gastronomic Fòrum Barcelona 2026, the leading fair for quality agri-food products. The event brings together specialized distributors, gastronomic trade, specifiers, companies with cooperation potential, and prominent culinary professionals.
This year, two companies from the region, Casanovas 1906 (Terrassa) and The Buttery (Sant Cugat del Vallès), members of the Xarxa Productes de la Terra del Vallès Occidental (Vallès Occidental Products of the Land Network), are presenting their offerings with the support of the Consell Comarcal del Vallès Occidental (Vallès Occidental Regional Council). Casanovas 1906 is a historic butcher shop in Terrassa, known for its 'botifarra terregada', while The Buttery artisanally produces nut creams and granola in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
The Xarxa Productes de la Terra is a voluntary association of supramunicipal local entities, promoted by the Diputació de Barcelona (Barcelona Provincial Council), which brings together over a thousand producing and processing companies of food products from the Barcelona demarcation to strengthen the business fabric.
The Gastronomic Fòrum Barcelona has established itself as a showcase for novelties and a dynamic commercial platform, fostering information exchange between exhibitors and a specialized audience, attracted by a program of activities featuring world-renowned chefs.
The profile of recurrent visitors includes professionals such as distributors, purchasing managers from the food service sector, restaurant and agri-food industry entrepreneurs, representatives of administrations and associations, training centers, chefs, sommeliers, specialized shops, journalists, and gastronomic critics, as well as gourmet public.
