Unicaja and the Association of Businesswomen of the Province of Almería (Almur) have renewed their collaboration to promote female entrepreneurship and leadership in the province through three panel discussions and networking events.

The financial institution Unicaja has strengthened its alliance with the Association of Businesswomen of the Province of Almería (Almur), supporting for another year the 'Desayunos con Almur' initiative. This project, set to take place in the second half of the year, includes three panel discussions featuring associated businesswomen and recognized guests, followed by a networking event.
The main objective of these events is to highlight and foster female leadership and entrepreneurship among the province's businesswomen. Furthermore, they aim to create collaboration spaces, showcase the careers of female role models, promote co-responsibility, diversity, and sustainability, and bring Almur's activities closer to the society of Almería.
The collaboration was formalized through the signing of an agreement between the territorial director of Eastern Andalusia for Unicaja, Juan Cayuela, and the president of Almur, Amalia Salvador. Unicaja frames this support within its ongoing commitment to the business fabric and the economic and social development of Almería.
Juan Cayuela emphasized Unicaja's interest in "continuing to promote initiatives that contribute to strengthening the business fabric and generating new opportunities for businesswomen and entrepreneurs." He highlighted that the collaboration with Almur allows them to "support spaces for meeting, inspiration, and networking, which fosters the exchange of experiences and the visibility of female talent in the province of Almería".
For her part, Amalia Salvador thanked Unicaja for their support, stating that "these types of alliances help us continue creating much-needed spaces for businesswomen." She emphasized the strength and diversity of the female business fabric represented by Almur and the importance of giving visibility to their work, as well as generating synergies and strengthening an increasingly united network in Almería.
Unicaja reaffirms its firm commitment to equal opportunities and support for businesswomen, offering financial solutions, training, and advice. These actions align with its Sustainability and Diversity policies, its Equality Plan, and contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 (Gender Equality) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
