The event, held in the city of Málaga, brought together diplomatic and commercial representatives to analyze the current landscape of economic relations. The initiative aims to facilitate access to new markets for local SMEs, leveraging the framework of the EU-Mercosur Trade Agreement, which has improved exchange conditions since last May.
Strategic sectors with high demand in the South American country were detailed during the session, including agri-food, renewable energy, engineering, construction, and digital services. According to the data presented, Spanish exports to this destination reached a historic high in 2025, exceeding 178 million euros.
The meeting also highlighted Paraguay's position as a gateway to the regional market. The Chamber of Commerce reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Málaga-based companies in their internationalization processes, providing tools and key contacts to strengthen their presence abroad.
