The biotech company Hawk Biosystems, a spin-off from the Miguel Hernández University Science Park in Elche, has formalized a strategic agreement with Diagnóstica Longwood to expand the commercialization of its QF-Pro technology in the Spanish market.

Through this alliance, Diagnóstica Longwood will represent the firm and integrate the QF-Pro solution into its product portfolio for functional protein analysis. This technology allows for the quantification of protein functional activity, providing more precise data than conventional methods that only detect their presence or expression levels.
The company maintains its link with the research group led by professor Antonio Ferrer, who serves as director of the Institute of Research, Development and Innovation in Health Biotechnology of Elche (Idibe) at UMH. This collaboration adds to the commercial network the company has consolidated over the last two years in various international markets.
In addition to QF-Pro, the company offers the Violet 3.0 platform, a high-speed microscopy system designed for the study of biomarkers in tissues. These solutions are designed to facilitate research into the tumor microenvironment and the prediction of therapeutic responses in both clinical and translational settings.
