The Isla Mágica theme park in Seville was filled with summer fruit this Thursday thanks to Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, which distributed 600 kilos of watermelon, melon, and blueberries among over 2,000 visitors.

Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía celebrated the International Day of Cooperativism at the Sevillian theme park Isla Mágica, distributing 600 kilos of summer fruit among attendees. The initiative aimed to promote the value of food produced by the region's cooperatives and encourage healthy lifestyle habits.
The fresh fruit packages, sourced from cooperatives in Lora del Río (Seville), Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), and Huelva, were distributed among the more than 2,000 visitors who enjoyed the day. The action is part of the campaign «Lo bueno, si es cooperativo, dos veces bueno» (Good things are twice as good if they are cooperative).
Jaime Martínez-Conradi, general director of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, highlighted the importance of showcasing the work of professional farmers and ranchers, whose efforts contribute to the economy, employment, and the territorial structure of Andalusia. The federation represents over 600 cooperative companies.
Amaya Ardura, Commercial and Marketing Director of Isla Mágica, stated that the event reinforced the park's commitment to sustainability and local produce, aligning with the principles of Andalusian agri-food cooperativism: supporting local producers and offering quality food with a lower environmental impact.
