The company Evolvaskills, dedicated to education and textile commerce, has been the only entity to submit a bid for the judicial corpse collection service in Seville.

Evolvaskills, registered on June 8th and based in Mairena del Aljarafe, has won the tender for the judicial corpse collection service in the province of Seville. The company, with a share capital of 1.5 million euros, was the only one to submit an offer for the public tender called by the Junta.
Evolvaskills's corporate purpose focuses on education and wholesale trade of textiles and clothing, with no connection to funeral activities. Its sole administrator is listed in about fifteen companies involved in import, export, restaurants, and gas stations, but none in the funeral sector.
The absence of funeral companies from the bidding is attributed to the high costs of the service and the low remuneration offered by the public administration, set at around 84 euros per corpse removal, regardless of location. The Observatory of Funeral Services has warned that this situation indicates a lack of sustainability for the service.
The starting price for the tender was 372,479.37 euros, with a potential extension that could reach 677,000 euros. The Consejería de Justicia (Ministry of Justice) has stated that the award is in a "very embryonic" stage, as it still needs to review all documentation submitted by Evolvaskills and verify that it meets all the required criteria, including financial solvency and possession of at least five vehicles adapted for corpse transport.
