The Camp de Túria region closed March 2026 with a significant 4.7% reduction in unemployment compared to the previous year, solidifying its position as a key economic driver in the Valencian Community thanks to logistics and services.

This year-on-year improvement, compared to March 2025, is based on the robustness of its logistics parks and a service sector that is gaining specialization and reducing its dependence on seasonality. The region demonstrates a significant capacity to generate employment and attract talent.
Riba-roja de Túria remains the main logistics hub in the region and one of the most important in the province. The municipality experienced a 5.8% decrease in unemployment during March 2026 compared to the previous year. The expansion of its industrial areas has turned the transport and storage sector into a major job creator. However, the challenge of parity persists, as the reduction in male unemployment (6.5%) exceeds that of female unemployment (4.2%), indicating the need for greater inclusion of women in heavier logistics sectors.
For its part, Llíria has registered a very favorable evolution, with a 4.9% drop in unemployment compared to March 2025. The industrial sector, especially that linked to renewable energies and advanced technology, has been the main driver. In Llíria, the improvement in the age group of over 45s stands out, with a 3.4% reduction in the number of unemployed, a result superior to the regional average, attributable to the implementation of new industries that value experience and job stability.
Bétera and La Pobla de Vallbona show positive dynamics, driven by population growth. Bétera has seen unemployment decrease by 4.5% year-on-year, thanks to the service sector and liberal professions. La Pobla de Vallbona has registered a 4.2% drop, with local commerce and large retail surfaces being the main job generators in March 2026. In both municipalities, youth unemployment (under 25s) has fallen by 10.2%, reflecting a rapid integration of new young residents into the local labor market.
Other localities such as l'Eliana and Benaguasil also contribute to consolidation. l'Eliana maintains its stability with a 3.8% reduction in unemployment, concentrated in the tertiary sector and advanced services. Benaguasil, with a 4.1% drop, has seen how small local industry and the agri-food sector have maintained their strength since March 2025, resisting market fluctuations well.
By activity sectors, Industry and Logistics are the big winners, with an overall unemployment decrease of 6.5%. Services follow with a 4.3% drop, favored by a March with high commercial and leisure activity. Construction shows a slight improvement of 1.5%, mainly driven by new construction and rehabilitation in the region's numerous urbanizations. Agriculture is the only sector with a slight increase in unemployment (0.5%), due to structural difficulties in the citrus sector.
A promising indicator is the 3.5% reduction in the number of people without previous employment, demonstrating that Camp de Túria not only generates jobs for those already in the system but is also a pole of attraction for new generations seeking their first job opportunity. The balance for March 2026 for Camp de Túria is one of strength and expansion, with the challenge of ensuring more equitable logistics growth and that inland municipalities keep pace with those closer to the CV-35.
