The initiative, presented this morning, primarily seeks to encourage purchases within Vila-real's commercial fabric. To obtain one of the umbrellas, exclusively designed for this campaign, consumers must make three minimum purchases of 10 euros at three different stores or one or two purchases totaling 100 euros at distinct establishments. The campaign will be valid until supplies run out.
The presentation was attended by the Councillor for Commerce, Xus Madrigal; the president of UCOVI, Carmen Gil; the secretary, Tere Esteve; and UCOVI representatives Jennifer Covrig, Paula Cantavella, and Maialen Vázquez. Madrigal reiterated the government team's commitment to local commerce, considering it a fundamental pillar of the local economy.
Every purchase counts and every action builds the city. In Vila-real, we don't wait for it to rain, we make opportunities rain.
The councillor also mentioned other support measures recently promoted, such as commercial voucher campaigns, expected to resume before summer, as well as tax bonuses and collaboration agreements with the sector. UCOVI emphasized the importance of local commerce as a generator of life, employment, and social cohesion in the city.
With this initiative, Vila-real once again demonstrates its commitment to a vibrant and dynamic city model, where local commerce remains a key element for the economic and social development of the locality.
