Valencia Airport Exceeds One Million Passengers in March with 4.2% Growth

International traffic drives the increase, while domestic traffic shows a slight decrease during the same period.

Valencia Airport registered a total of 1,007,297 passengers in March, representing a 4.2% increase compared to the same month in 2025, according to data provided by Aena.

The international market, which is the majority at the Valencian terminal, continues its upward trend with a 7.3% growth in March, reaching 758,999 travelers. In contrast, domestic traffic accounted for 246,240 passengers, which represents a 3.5% decrease.
The countries of origin or destination with the most passengers were Italy, with 200,179 travelers; followed by Germany, with 80,431; the United Kingdom, with 76,688; France, with 72,682; and the Netherlands, with 63,524.
Regarding flights operated in March, the airport facility managed a total of 7,734 movements, which signifies a slight increase of 0.3% compared to the same month last year.
In the first quarter of the year as a whole, Valencia Airport registered 2,550,167 passengers, a 4.8% increase over the same period last year. The number of flights operated totaled 20,268 movements, with a 0.9% increase.
