The event, organized by professor Mila Bravo Sellés and coordinated by Germán Viana Gimeno, a member of the Young Auditors Commission of the ICJCE, aimed to bring students closer to the reality of a profession crucial for business transparency.
During the first part, students delved into the functions of auditing professionals, their daily work, and career development possibilities. Future challenges for the sector and the role of auditing in company operations, particularly regarding financial information reliability, were also discussed.
The second part of the activity served to present the XXVII National Congress of Auditing, scheduled for November 12 and 13, 2026, at the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia. This professional gathering will bring together specialists and sector representatives.
The UPV Alcoy Campus is coordinating the attendance of students from the Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), the double degrees in ADE and Tourism and in ADE and Computer Engineering, as well as the Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) to the congress.
Students interested in attending the congress can confirm their participation via a QR code or a provided form.
Through initiatives like this, the UPV Alcoy Campus continues to bridge the gap between the professional world and the classroom, helping students discover new career opportunities.
