This project includes both the construction of the center and the civil works required to connect it to the current and future conduits of the port area. The main goal is to manage the electrical power arriving from the ST1 substation, which is currently in the final stages of construction.
The 132 kV ST1 substation is scheduled to become operational during the second half of 2026. This infrastructure is a fundamental part of the Valenciaport Net Zero Emissions plan, which aims to achieve net-zero emissions in ports managed by the entity by 2035.
Key measures in this roadmap include the deployment of the OPS system for shore-to-ship power supply and the electrification of terminals. Projections indicate that by the end of 2028, 80% of the docks capable of using this technology will be electrified.
