We create unique gastronomic experiences, going beyond conventional catering: combining cocktail-style appetizers with a Live Paella Show Cooking, where the paella is prepared live in front of the guests. The service is adapted for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events, with options such as an open bar, ham carving station, desserts, furniture, and decoration.
The Paella Experience has seven years of experience in the gastronomic events sector. The project, created eight years ago by a Catalan entrepreneur during her time abroad, was later moved to Catalonia, where it has evolved to become consolidated in just four years within the catering sector. Her experience living in different countries has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the international market and the needs of couples choosing Catalonia to celebrate their wedding.
During this period, the company has committed to constant evolution of its offering, in terms of gastronomy, image, presentation, staging, and service. The goal is to go beyond conventional catering and make gastronomy an integrated part of each celebration's experience, always maintaining the essence of traditional Spanish cuisine and presenting it in an elegant, original, and contemporary way.
Its offering combines a Finger Food appetizer buffet, among other stations and buffets, consisting of small bites inspired by different regions of Spanish gastronomy, with a Live Paella Show Cooking, where the paella is prepared live in front of the guests. The live cooking adds a visual and participatory element that makes the preparation of the dish part of the experience, especially attractive for weddings of couples coming to Catalonia from other countries.
A particularly attractive proposal for the international market
The weight of the international market is one of the defining elements of The Paella Experience's current activity. Nearly 80% of its weddings are international, with couples from the United States, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, and other countries.
For many of these couples, getting married in Catalonia also represents an opportunity to incorporate elements linked to local gastronomy into the celebration. In this context, the Live Paella Show Cooking allows for the integration of one of the most recognized dishes of Spanish gastronomy into a contemporary celebration, with a carefully curated staging adapted to each event.

"Despite the focus on weddings, The Paella Experience's activity also extends to private celebrations, anniversaries, family reunions, and corporate events, maintaining the same approach based on live cooking, presentation, and attention to detail."
The Paella Challenge: a gastronomic Teambuilding. In recent years, the company has also expanded its activity into the corporate world with The Paella Challenge, a Teambuilding proposal that it has pioneered in Catalonia and which turns the preparation of paellas into a true team challenge. In a region that increasingly hosts international companies bringing their teams together to enjoy the climate, gastronomy, and surroundings, this activity offers a gastronomic, participatory, and different experience, designed to strengthen cohesion and collaboration within these companies. The Teambuilding activity is available in English.
The activity can be taken to any location in Catalonia and is adapted to the space chosen by each company. The Paella Experience sets up various cooking stations, and participants are divided into teams that compete to prepare the best paella.
Beyond the gastronomic component, the proposal aims to work on aspects such as communication, collaboration, coordination, creativity, decision-making, organization, task delegation, and time management. All this, in a participatory and relaxed environment that allows teams to share a different activity outside of their usual work dynamic.
With The Paella Challenge, The Paella Experience brings its concept of live cooking to the corporate world, thus expanding an activity that, after eight years of trajectory, continues to evolve around a single idea: making gastronomy an experience that is part of the celebration.
