The Parque Científico of the Universidad Miguel Hernández (PCUMH) is collaborating with Atalayas Ciudad Empresarial on the new 'Atalayas InnoHub 2030' strategy, presented today, which aims to transform the business area into a hub for applied innovation.

The primary objective of this initiative is to improve business competitiveness through collaboration. The strategy, presented by Atalayas Ciudad Empresarial, involves the participation of the PCUMH. During the event, Sergio Román, director of the PCUMH's Area of Financing and Business Development, highlighted the importance of creating an ecosystem where companies, public entities, universities, and innovation agents collaborate to solve specific business challenges.
The action plan for Atalayas Ciudad Empresarial is structured around three key pillars: sustainable innovation, a talent community, and the Energy Office. The first pillar focuses on enhancing competitiveness through innovation, sustainability, business collaboration, and the adoption of new solutions. The second pillar aims to attract, develop, and retain talent through training, shared learning, and innovative business cultures. Finally, the initiative seeks to drive the energy transition through renewables, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management.
This collaboration positions the Science Park as an agent aligned with the objectives of Atalayas Ciudad Empresarial. While Atalayas provides the real business environment, the PCUMH contributes start-ups, spin-offs, and technologies developed within its ecosystem. Companies from the PCUMH could test their solutions with businesses located in Atalayas before market launch, aligning with the strategy's 'demonstrator pilots' philosophy. Furthermore, through its entrepreneurship and acceleration programs, the PCUMH could help identify the needs of Atalayas' companies and connect these challenges with entrepreneurs and start-ups capable of solving them.
