The Dénia subsidiary of the Danish group European Energy, European Energy Spain PtX SL, has reorganized its administration and expanded its corporate purpose to focus on electricity production from renewable sources.

The Danish group European Energy, one of the largest in the sector in its country, established one of its operational centers in Dénia in 2019. Now, its subsidiary European Energy Spain PtX SL is undergoing a new internal reorganization that includes a change in its main activity.
According to the Official Gazette of the Commercial Registry (Borme), the company has replaced the sole administrator system with that of joint administrators. Management now falls to Albert Martí and Jaime Casasús-Bribián, who jointly assume the subsidiary's direction. Until now, the position was held by European Energy España SL.
This organizational adjustment is accompanied by a change in the company's corporate purpose. It will now focus on the production of electricity from renewable sources and the entire associated value chain, including the purchase, sale, promotion, construction, and operation of facilities linked to technologies such as photovoltaic, wind, biomass, thermoelectric, or fuel cells. This move expands the company's scope of action at a time when the group is reorganizing its presence in the Spanish market.
The new administrators have profiles linked to business development and new lines within the energy sector. Albert Martí, an electrical engineer specializing in renewable energy since 2005, leads the company's activity in the country. For his part, Jaime Casasús Bribián is focused on the development of Power-to-X (PtX) projects, a line aimed at transforming renewable energy into new energy vectors, and leads the group's biogas area.
The restructuring also includes the revocation of powers of an attorney for the subsidiary. In parallel, the parent company in Spain, European Energy España SL, has also modified its administrative body, also moving to two joint administrators, retaining Nicolas Konig in the position and incorporating Albert Martí.
The reorganization in Dénia is part of a broader group strategy, which in recent months has incorporated new lines of activity linked to energy storage. An example is the Kvosted project in Denmark, a park that combines solar generation with battery storage and incorporates a 200-megawatt (MW) energy storage system (BESS).
Since its arrival in Spain, European Energy has articulated its presence through various companies based in Dénia. In 2024, the Spanish subsidiary reduced its share capital to 3,000 euros and recorded a turnover close to 1.8 million, with losses of 5.7 million, although it consolidates its accounts with the group's parent company.
