The Auditori de Castelló will host the 19th edition of the international congress Qualicer on June 10 and 11, an event focusing this year on industrial innovation and sustainability.

Under the slogan Now, the full view, the congress aims to analyze current sector challenges, focusing on decarbonization, energy efficiency, and the use of artificial intelligence. As a novelty, an additional session has been scheduled for the 12th at the College of Industrial Engineers of Castellón, dedicated specifically to slip resistance testing.
The congress's technical management highlighted that electrification and carbon capture are emerging as the most viable technological alternatives to ensure company competitiveness. During the sessions, real data on the operation of electric kilns will be presented, a technology that already has successful industrial experiences.

There may be innovation that is not profitable, but it is much more difficult for a strategy based on quality and customer orientation to end in failure.

The event will feature more than 30 speakers from countries including Germany, Australia, Canada, the United States, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. The organization has emphasized the sector's concern regarding current decarbonization schedules, warning that without changes, the future could lead to business concentration that would particularly affect the economy of the province of Castellón.
