This subsidy program, active since 2021 and funded by Next Generation EU funds, aims to promote energy efficiency improvements in households. The grants can cover up to 40% of the total cost of the work, with a maximum limit of 3,000 euros per household.
The management of these subsidies falls to each autonomous community, with the Community of Madrid being the responsible entity for their distribution in the case of Alcorcón. Interested parties should note that works must be completed before June 30, 2026, and justified to the competent regional body within three months of their completion.
The program, called “Aid Program for Actions to Improve Energy Efficiency in Homes,” establishes a minimum project cost of 1,000 euros to qualify for the subsidy. Owners, usufructuaries, and tenants can apply for these grants, provided the property is their habitual residence and the corresponding registration certificate is presented.
