The Xunta de Galicia emphasizes the importance of public-private collaboration to advance in technological specialization adapted to the community's needs, the basis of the new Digital Pact of Galicia.

The Xunta de Galicia underlines public-private collaboration as a fundamental pillar for boosting technological specialization in the community, adapted to its specific needs. This strategy is part of the new Digital Pact of Galicia, designed to strengthen the Galician technological ecosystem and overcome geographical and population dispersion limitations.
As recognition for the sector, the Galicia Calidade TIC seal will be launched in 2027. This official distinction will reward companies and entities that excel in excellent, innovative, sustainable, and socially responsible management models. The Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Miguel Corgos, announced this initiative during the commemorative event for the 30th anniversary of the company NTT DATA in Spain.
Miguel Corgos recalled that the Xunta's Budgets for 2027 prioritize Galicia's productive sector, supporting companies, driving innovation, and promoting their digital transformation. He detailed significant investments, such as 360 million euros for R&D&i, over 140 million for financing business projects, more than 90 million for worker training, over 40 million for energy investments and self-consumption, and more than 165 million for the Agency for Technological Modernization of Galicia (Amtega) to lead digitalization.
The Minister of Finance considers Galicia to be technologically mature and competitive thanks to the commitment of all stakeholders: the strategic vision of the Galician Government with its digital agendas, a robust knowledge ecosystem with universities and technological centers, and the complicity of the technology sector.
Regarding training, Miguel Corgos highlighted the importance of retaining and attracting talent in key disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence, with a wide training offer from universities to vocational training centers, aimed at both current workers and new entrants to the sector.
