More than a hundred workers began their protest at ten in the morning at the Amurrio factory, proceeding to the town center by road, where they sat down and cut off traffic. They plan to gather at eleven in the Town Hall square.
The Amurrio plant has been on an indefinite strike since March 16. Their objectives remain the withdrawal of the ERE, preventing the closure of the Amurrio factory's steelworks, and avoiding the outsourcing of logistics.
Following today's concentration, the works council will hold two more meetings next week: one with Tubos' management, who called the meeting, and another with the Department of Industry and the Provincial Council of Álava, scheduled for April 16.
