Employees at the company began 67 hours of work stoppages this week, calling on management to “convene a meeting as soon as possible to start discussions on the agreement and put forward a proposal for genuine negotiation.”

The first mobilization took place on Tuesday, April 14, with a two-hour strike, and today, April 16, marked the second day of protests.

The ELA union reported that “worker participation has been high” in the mobilizations. According to the union, the response from employees clearly shows “the discontent of the workforce and their willingness to fight for a dignified agreement.”
