Primaprix, the supermarket chain specializing in discounted food, drugstore, and home products, is expanding its presence in Bizkaia with a new store in Bilbao's Casco Viejo opening June 18th.

Primaprix, the supermarket chain specializing in food, drugstore, perfumery, and home products at reduced prices, is strengthening its presence in Bizkaia. The company has chosen Bilbao's Casco Viejo (Old Town) for its next location, set to open its doors on June 18th at number 1, Portal de Zamudio street.
With this new addition, the firm continues to advance its growth strategy across the territory. In recent years, Primaprix has seen significant expansion in various municipalities, consolidating an increasingly broad network of establishments and bringing its business model closer to more Basque residents.

"We travel all over Europe hunting for these opportunities so you can enjoy them at the price you like."

Primaprix sources
To celebrate the arrival of the new supermarket, the company has organized a grand opening party coinciding with the store's launch. Regarding its sourcing, Primaprix explains that major international brands often have surplus stock in their warehouses, from promotions –Christmas, summer, events, etc.–, new product launches, or simply products with a significantly lower price in one country compared to another.
