Orona, the vertical mobility solutions company based in Hernani, concluded the 2025 fiscal year with a business figure of 1,195 million euros, representing a 7% increase compared to the previous year.

This figure is very close to the 1,200 million euro target set for 2030 within its strategic plan, suggesting that this goal could be achieved ahead of schedule. This positive development occurred in a particularly challenging year, where geopolitics, economic policies, and the slowdown in European countries generated detrimental uncertainty for businesses.
Orona held its general assembly today at its corporate headquarters in Hernani, where it reported the main figures from its 2025 balance sheet. The results were positive, reflecting an improvement in profitability with an Ebitda of 191 million euros. This strong position has enabled the Hernani cooperative to boost its investment commitment to strengthen its competitiveness.

"The company has made investments aimed at innovation, research and development projects, new technologies, and the acquisition of companies with the goal of reinforcing its competitive positioning in the vertical mobility sector."

Throughout the year, the investment allocated amounted to 58 million euros, directed towards innovation, research and development projects, new technologies, and company acquisitions. Additionally, 70 million euros were used to foster industrial development and local job creation. The two main actions highlighted by Orona were the acquisition of “strategic land” in the Estubegi industrial park in Hernani and the expansion and modernization of its industrial presence in a plot within the Júndiz industrial park in Gasteiz.
Of the 70 million euros, 60 million were allocated to the Estubegi area, where the Gipuzkoan cooperative plans to erect a new pavilion adjacent to the existing one, covering a total area of 60,000 square meters. This project anticipates an increase in production capacity and the creation of 150 new jobs. Orona closed the fiscal year with a workforce of 6,997 people, very close to the 7,000-employee target outlined in its strategic plan Rumbo Orona UE 2030.
