Onnera Group has initiated an internal reflection process regarding its continued participation in the Fagor group, as communicated to its partners, although its involvement in the Mondragon Group is not in question.

Onnera Group has initiated an internal reflection process regarding its continued participation in the Fagor group, as communicated to its partners. In any case, it has been made clear that its participation in the Mondragon Group is not in question, as Fagor and Mondragon are distinct entities. An informative statement has been circulated among the partners, who will have to decide whether to leave the Fagor group if this reflection process moves forward. However, as of today, there is no date set for a vote, and it cannot be guaranteed that one will take place, according to cooperative sources.
This is not the first time a vote on continuing with the Fagor group has been held; until 2013, when it was Fagor Industrial, this question was posed, and the partners decided to remain in the group. Four years ago, this same question was asked, and the partners opted to stay with the group.
Onnera Group offers solutions for cooking, cleaning, and cold applications. It encompasses seven brands: Fagor Professional, Asber, Edesa, Danube, Domus, Primer, and Efficold. It operates six manufacturing plants, in addition to its main headquarters in Oñati: in Cordoba, Barcelona, and Huesca, as well as in France, Poland, and Mexico. The group comprises over 2,365 professionals, distributed across 7 manufacturing plants and 10 strategically located commercial representative offices worldwide.
According to data from the end of 2025, 432 employees are partners and will have the final say in deciding whether to leave the Fagor group. The group achieved a business volume of 400 million euros last year, and these results reflect the organization's solidity and competitiveness, as stated at the 2025 General Assembly held in May. The 2026 Management Plan was also approved at the assembly, an ambitious roadmap marked by the sustainable growth of the socio-entrepreneurial project.
