Nine companies, including ArcelorMittal and Industria de Turbo Propulsores, have formed the Ibarberria association to boost Sestao's northern industrial zone.

To revitalize the northern industrial zone of Sestao, a new business association named Ibarberria has been established. Its goal is to design and execute initiatives that enhance competitiveness, positioning it as a key economic hub in Bizkaia.
Founding members include ArcelorMittal, Carrera Grupo Logístico, Fundación Lantegi Batuak, Industria de Turbo Propulsores, Forjas Río Galindo, Servicios Turísticos ... San Román, Trans X Tar, VGP Park La Naval, and Vicinay. They will collectively address the area's common challenges.
Ibarberria's objectives are to improve the business environment, increase investor attractiveness, optimize costs, and strengthen the corporate image of companies in the zone. It will facilitate collaboration on identifying needs, planning improvements, and accessing institutional support.
The initiative is supported by the Sestao City Council and the public company Sestao Berri. Establishing this association was a strategic aim of the 'Sestao Ind >>Hartu' project, part of the Diputación's Bizkaia Orekan Sakonduz program.
