The Lezama Town Council has signed three agreements with companies in the La Cruz industrial park for the special use concession of public land, aiming to improve their operations and strengthen the functionality and competitiveness of this business area.

These agreements have been concluded with Totem Towerco Spain, Silicatos de Malpica, and Belgicats Internacional, and will enable the development of various actions designed to optimize the operational conditions of the companies and facilitate their daily activities.
Planned actions include improving truck traffic access to one of the companies and establishing electric vehicle charging points, both for internal company use. Additionally, telecommunications infrastructure will be installed to provide network service to a perimeter of over 500 meters, encompassing more than 100 homes and businesses in the neighborhood, serving four different operators, as well as the industrial park's own companies.
These three agreements will generate a combined economic contribution of 20,000 euros annually for the municipal coffers, a sum that will be updated each year according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Each agreement will have an initial duration of four years, with the possibility of extension for an additional period of up to four more years, reaching a maximum duration of eight years. The companies will fully assume the necessary investment to execute the planned actions, as well as all associated development costs, including licenses, maintenance, insurance, and potential repairs arising from the use of the facilities or spaces under concession. Furthermore, the concessionaire companies must ensure the proper conservation of public spaces throughout the term of the agreements and restore them to their original conditions upon the expiration of the concession period.
