The association Getxo Enpresa, representing over 300 local retailers, has launched new initiatives to boost the online presence of the municipality's small businesses and hospitality venues, providing them with tools to compete in an increasingly digitalized market.
The collective will offer a free online presence advisory service. A specialist will analyze each business's channels and platforms, from websites to social media. Following this diagnosis, business owners will receive a personalized report with practical recommendations tailored to their specific situation.
Furthermore, the group has partnered with three specialized local firms to provide personalized digital support. Assistance will also be available for social media management, website design and development, and the creation of online stores, alongside internet advertising services and help with audiovisual content generation.
This push is also supported by Gertuapp, a platform promoted by the Basque Government's Department of Commerce and managed locally by the association. Currently, over 250 small businesses in Getxo are part of this application, designed to increase the visibility of local offerings and align them with current consumer habits.
