Bilbao Airport has added a new connection to Italy, offering direct flights to Turin with Wizz Air for under 25 euros, commencing on September 14.

The airline Wizz Air has announced a new direct route from Bilbao Airport to Turin, Italy, set to begin operations on September 14. This connection will feature three weekly frequencies, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Unlike other seasonal routes, the company has committed to maintaining this link year-round, ensuring a stable connection between Euskadi and northern Italy throughout the winter. Ticket prices will start from 24.99 euros.
With this announcement, Turin becomes Wizz Air's fourth Italian destination from Loiu, joining Milan, Rome, and Venice. This initiative is part of the low-cost carrier's expansion strategy, which has simultaneously launched five new routes to connect Turin with various Spanish airports.
The Bizkaia airfield continues to strengthen its offerings and currently boasts 55 active destinations. One of the latest additions has been Casablanca. Travelers can fly to Morocco's main city from this April with Royal Air Maroc, the flag carrier of the Alaouite kingdom. The route is primarily designed for business travel but also aims to attract the significant Moroccan community residing near the Bizkaia airport as potential users.
