The consolidated general budget settlement for the 2025 fiscal year of the Vallès Oriental County Council reflects a significant economic improvement. The document, approved by presidential decree on July 24, 2026, shows a positive adjusted budgetary result of 45,463.79 euros and an adjusted general expense treasury balance of 1.79 million euros.
The initial budget for the 2025 fiscal year was 39,579,934.27 euros. Following credit modifications made throughout the year, the final credits reached 62,854,304.46 euros. Regarding execution, net recognized obligations amounted to 44,031,827.50 euros (70.05% of expenses), while net recognized rights totaled 47,949,139.27 euros (76.29% of income).
The settlement integrates the Council's own budget, that of the affiliated consortia (Waste Management of Vallès Oriental and Besòs Tordera), the dependent commercial companies (Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental SA and CCB Serveis Mediambientals SAU), and the affiliated foundation (Fundació Rivus).
The adjusted budgetary result for the 2025 fiscal year stands at a positive 45,463.79 euros. The most relevant figure is the adjusted general expense treasury balance, which reaches a positive 1,792,996.07 euros. This value represents a substantial improvement compared to the negative balance of -749,795.83 euros recorded in 2024.
The Intervention department has issued a favorable report on the settlement of the General Budget of the Vallès Oriental County Council and its affiliated entities for the 2025 fiscal year. This financial management contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 16, focused on "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions," aligning with Agenda 2030.
