Since its inception in 1964, the chocolate spread Nutella, owned by the Italian confectionery company Ferrero, has solidified its global presence. Its popularity is such that it even has a World Nutella Day, celebrated every February 5th.
To mark its 62nd anniversary, the brand has unveiled a special collection of 17 jars, each illustrated with an emblematic landscape or building from one of Spain's autonomous communities. This initiative is part of the 'Buenos días con Nutella' campaign, which began in 2015 and now aims to "celebrate the most beautiful sunrises in our country."
For Catalonia, the choice fell on Park Güell, one of Barcelona's most recognized symbols. The brand justified this decision by emphasizing that it is "one of the most emblematic works by architect Antoni Gaudí and an icon of Catalan modernism." Park Güell was declared a monument of cultural interest in 1969 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
Among the other prominent locations featured in this limited edition are Madrid's Gran Vía, Valencia's Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, Gran Canaria's Maspalomas beach, Ibiza's Dalt Vila, and Asturias' Lagos de Covadonga. All designs can be viewed on an interactive map on the Nutella website.
