This infrastructure, which connects two existing power lines, will allow for a dual supply from the Isona valley. The main objective is to ensure that, in the event of an incident on one of the main lines, service can be quickly restored via alternative routes.
The project involved laying a 3.25-kilometer underground medium-voltage line. To minimize environmental and visual impact, the work was carried out during winter, utilizing existing forest paths to dig the necessary trench, even in snowy conditions.
The new electrical ring will directly benefit about forty transformation centers. These centers supply customers in the municipalities of Coll de Nargó (in Alt Urgell), as well as Abella de la Conca and Isona i Conca Dellà (in Pallars Jussà), including areas such as the Sallent valley.
