The Mataró City Council consolidated its digital transformation during 2025 with a 15.9% increase in procedures carried out through the E-office, exceeding 97,000 annual transactions.

Digital interaction between citizens and the Mataró administration continues to rise. According to data from the last fiscal year, a total of 97,192 online procedures were registered, a figure significantly higher than the 83,883 from the previous year. This shift in habits is especially reflected in incident reporting, as 71% of complaints and suggestions are now channeled electronically.
Among the most requested services by residents, the download of census certificates stands out, accumulating more than 20,000 requests. Other relevant procedures include registrations for municipal activities, representing 14.9% of the total volume, followed by public space permits and tax management.
One of the milestones of 2025 was the implementation of online birth registration in the census. In its first year, this method already accounts for 27% of all birth registrations, with an average response time of less than 24 hours, substantially improving official deadlines.
Finally, the Citizen Folder has been redesigned to offer a more intuitive experience. The new structure allows for easy consultation of details such as waste tax receipts or vehicles authorized to drive through the City Center, using clearer and more accessible language for all users.
