The Multidisciplinary Educational Research Group of the University of La Laguna (MUINED) is part of the Erasmus+ project ASSESSION4ALL, an initiative coordinated by the University of Padua. Professor Arminda Suárez Perdomo from the area of Research Methods and Educational Diagnosis is the ULL coordinator for this project, which seeks to develop a talent evaluation model for adolescents using Artificial Intelligence tools.
The project, titled 'Inclusive and talent-based student evaluation' (ASSESSION4ALL), also involves professors Remedios Guzmán Rosquete and Yaritza Garcés Delgado, professor José Luis Castilla Vallejo, and lecturer David Abreu Rodríguez. The international consortium includes Italy (with the University of Padua at the forefront), Turkey, and Hungary, bringing together universities and educational institutions.
ASSESSION4ALL aims to transform how educational centers support and evaluate student learning pathways. The project is developing an innovative, scalable European-level evaluation model focused on recognizing and fostering each student's talents and potential.
The initial phase of the project, led by MUINED at the University of La Laguna, involves a state-of-the-art review of evaluation models and processes. Preliminary results indicate that AI-based evaluation models, which identify talents in areas such as mathematics, grammar, or digital competencies, are effective in improving academic performance and enhancing learning.
The University of La Laguna serves as a scientific and methodological partner in ASSESSION4ALL, contributing its expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation of training interventions for adolescents, families, and educational communities. The research group focuses on the pedagogical foundations of the model, the design of training activities, impact analysis, and validation of experimental results, ensuring the project's transferability to different European educational systems.
