The public company Hecansa, attached to the Department of Tourism and Employment, has announced over 280 spots for the 2026-2027 academic year in vocational training cycles focused on hospitality and tourism.

The academic offer focuses on the intensive dual modality, a model that has proven highly effective for job placement. According to data from the last academic year, 70% of students who completed their studies at the centers in Santa Brígida, Gran Canaria, and Santa Cruz, Tenerife, secured employment contracts within the sector.
The training program allows students to combine theory with paid internships at top-tier hotel chains, including Iberostar, Satocan, Barceló, Princess, and H10. This collaboration ensures that half of the training is aligned with the real-world demands of the industry.
In addition to traditional cycles, the call includes specific programs for young people with special educational needs and individuals with intellectual disabilities, reaffirming Hecansa's commitment to inclusive employment. These programs feature adapted workloads and small class sizes to ensure personalized learning.
The pre-registration period for all training programs remains open through the entity's official website until June 26.
