The project, funded through Next Generation European funds, mobilized an investment exceeding nine million euros. Interventions focused on four key pillars: green transition, energy efficiency, digitalization, and enhancing the competitiveness of the island's tourism sector.
In the municipality of La Oliva, efforts centered on recovering heritage assets, notably the restoration of the El Tostón Tower and the Casa del Coronel. Meanwhile, in Puerto del Rosario, improvements included energy efficiency upgrades for the Tourism Board facilities and the restoration of El Pescador mural.
Other areas of the island also saw significant changes. In Pájara, photovoltaic lighting was installed in Cofete, while Tuineje prioritized the beautification of Tarajalejo. Additionally, Betancuria saw improvements around Morro Velosa, and Antigua focused on beach accessibility and equipment modernization.
