Canarian debtors increase their debts with the Tax Agency by 60 million

The number of indebted companies drops to 134, but the total amount owed to the Tax Agency rises to 317.4 million euros.

The accumulated debt of Canarian companies with the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) has increased by 60.2 million euros in the last year, reaching 317.4 million, despite the number of defaulting firms decreasing from 139 to 134.

In the province of Las Palmas, the total debt with the state Treasury stands at almost 179 million euros, owed by 79 companies. Notably, Nueva Energía 3000 leads the list with a debt of 19.7 million euros, followed by Sands Beachs Resort with 12.6 million. The firm Hermanos Santana Cazorla maintains its third position with 10.6 million.
New companies are joining the list of major debtors in Las Palmas. Among them are Julitex, with a debt of 9.3 million euros, Bahía Hotel Restaurant & Spa Fuerteventura with 3.3 million, and Calista GC with 2.3 million. Other companies such as Seguridad Integral (6.2 million), Beleyma (five million), Pescenescal, and Gonsua Inversiones (both exceeding four million) continue to be listed.
Meanwhile, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the debt amounts to 148.6 million euros, accumulated by 54 debtors. The company Inversiones Las Teresitas heads this list with an outstanding amount of 64.3 million euros. Another new addition is Habitats El Duque, with a debt of 11 million euros.
