Young people born in 2008 can now access a direct grant of 400 euros designed to promote cultural consumption. The application period is open from June 22 to October 31, 2026, through the official program platform.
This edition expands the eligible categories. In addition to traditional sectors such as cinema, performing arts, or books, beneficiaries can now invest the funds in musical instruments, artistic materials, and cultural training courses.
To qualify, applicants must prove Spanish nationality, legal residency, asylum status, temporary displacement, or be a former ward of the state. The process is handled exclusively online, and once approved, the funds are loaded onto a prepaid card, available in both digital and physical formats.
The program allows the 400-euro budget to be distributed across three areas: up to 200 euros for performing arts and heritage, 100 euros for physical cultural goods like books or records, and 100 euros for digital consumption. Alternatively, users may choose to allocate the entire amount to a single eligible category.
