The Villafranca de Córdoba City Council has secured a regional grant, funded by the European Union, to promote the labor insertion of unemployed youth through the Activa-T program.

The aid, granted by the Department of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andalucía, has a total budget of 91,200 euros. These funds are part of the FSE+ Andalucía 2021-2027 program and aim to facilitate local youth access to the labor market.
The plan includes the creation of eight specific job positions for the municipality. The distribution of the roles and the economic allocation for each professional category is as follows:
The council will hire one Early Childhood Education Technician and one Administrative Assistant, with a budget of 10,900 euros for each role. Additionally, four Gardeners will be hired with a budget of 47,600 euros, and two Street Cleaners will be assigned 21,800 euros.
